Abstract

We have discussed about the performance of public sector banks in the chapter five with analysis of all the financial performance indicators and parameters and found that the public sector banks have made significant progress in First as well as Second generation reform period from the year 1991-92 to 2003-04. Now we will analyse the performance of private sector banks in India during the above mentioned period and see the private sector banks.
