Abstract

The expanded volume portion of molecules lying at the grain limits is required to build the electrical resistivity of nanocrystalline material than that in the relating coarse-grained polycrystalline materials. The electrical resistivity of nanocrystalline material is high in both coarse-grained metals and formless amalgams. At a steady temperature, resistivity increments with diminishing grain size and it is observed to be corresponding to the temperature for various grain measure in wide temperature run. The temperature coefficient of electrical resistivity has been found to diminish with a diminishing grain estimate.
