Abstract

Data compression is a process of minimizing the size of original data and information can be encoded using fewer bits in contrast to the original representation .In this paper ,we have considered different basic existing data compression techniques .We recommend improved dynamic bit reduction algorithm techniques which is completely based on number of unique symbols occurrences in input strings .Improved dynamic bit reduction algorithm improves compression ratio as well as memory saving percentage compared to existing techniques for text data.
