Abstract
Manju Kapur is a new star arising on the literary horizon of Indian English novel. Her novels aim at putting forth the predicament of Indian Women in the middleclass contemporary India society. Her bent of mind ad leanings are towards the Welfare and uplifting of women in the family as well as in the Indian society and in the Country.
