Abstract
Political participation of women is one of the contentious debates of the 21st century. The political participation of women have been studied at national, state and local level while highlighting upon the core areas including women contesting elections, registering for elections, getting elected or selected candidate from any political party for elections, registered for voting, or voter turnout etc.
