Abstract
“Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana” (PMJDY) in order to ensure financial literacy, freedom and stability this initiative provides for opening of banking, insurance and pension schemes for the not so privileged class with features that the lacunae of such earlier schemes are removed.
