Abstract
To ensure sustainability in the health sector it is very crucial that the waste generated from it be managed scientifically. The sudden outburst of COVID-19 pandemic has magnified this challenge enormously. The pandemic has resulted in an avalanche of patients and Biomedical Waste, which is generated during the treatment or diagnosis of the affected individuals.
