Abstract
The volatile and the fact paced business environment is giving rise to ever evolving and fast changing disruptions in the market place in terms of its business goals and the strategies for achievement of those business goals. The disruption in the market has thrown up new challenges for the organisations which have lead some new and innovative ways which requires out of the box thinking for organisations to retain their competitive edge and to sustain its long term vision. This changing landscape of the employment relationship due to outsourcing, stance of temporary workers, demographic diversity(Boyce et al., 2007; Coyle-Shapiro et al., 2019) lead to an in-depth study of the relevance of psychological contract in the organisations.
