Considering the fact, that under Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA), Rashtriya Avishkar Saptah is celebrated every year in the schools of India, from October 14 to October 21, being the month of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary, in which ‘Water Quality Assessment and Water Conservation’ was selected as the theme during the year 2019-20. Two thousand six hundred and ten schools from 22 States/UTs participated in the programme. The students actively participated in water conservation, water quality assessment process, in finding out the sources of water, its quality assessment and understanding the value of water conservation.
