Abstract
The Constitution of India is not static but has evolved over the years. It has been amended many a times to keep pace with the changing paradigm and the economy of the country. Environment law is considered utmost important and it finds an integral part in the constitutional provisions of the country. This paper tends to highlight the constitutional provisions relating to environmental law as well as the need to incorporate them. The study focuses mainly on this aspect and it follows the doctrinal study. The doctrinal study would consider the legal framework guarding the process of environmental law in India as well as their conceptual development with the help of laws and judicial cases involved in environmental law.
