Abstract
In this article, an attempt is made to explain disadvantage group, their areas and their socio-economic and educational status. Implementation of various schemes for their overall improvement is also highlighted in this article. On the basis of collected data from ICT facilitated schools in disadvantage areas, explanations are made to the knowledge of students in the context of creating text documents, creating presentation & digital resources, editing digital resources, using e-mail and e-resources such as texts, images, animation, audio, video, multimedia, etc. for enhancing learning. Article also includes their uses of social media for connecting with others and educational purposes.
